Blechacz has risen to the heights of his talent. Self-controlled, loft, concentrated on the music and nothing else, he managed to perfectly convey the mood of heartily youthful emotions embodied in the Concerto’s score by the then 20-year-old Frederic Chopin – same as Blechacz today. His fresh and revealing interpretation of the E-minor Concerto was also an example of great cooperation with the orchestra.
